Dear Sista,

If you don't want the same cycle of unforgiveness, pride, or whatever else may have you in a choke hold, when offered the opportunity to get even or throw a stone at someone else's choices, don't let ego control your next move. Choose different.

I've seen the movies where do-overs help the MC realize their potential and the blessing that is in their current reality. But we don't have the luxury of visiting an alternate dimension; all we can do is pray and make decisions 😄.

We go through bad situations. We are often victims of someone else's decisions. But when the ball is in our court, we don't have to become what tried to make our hearts hard. Don't walk the same steps as what/who hurt you.

Choose different. Forgive. Love. Move on. Don't stay stuck in the darkness that is unforgiveness.

As with a deadly wound in my bones, my adversaries taunt me, while they say to me all the day long, "Where is your God?" Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.

His enemies are taunting him, so they must have something worth bragging about to make them feel they have the upper hand. However daunting David's predicament is, he looks to and reflects on God's character to anchor him.
